Less Of Me~ More Of Him - Monday Meanderings

Monday Meanderings

“Monday Meanderings “ does not have to be my 5 focal points each week, you can list any 5 things that will better prepare you for the week and bless your home and your family! To learn more about  "Monday Meanderings” please go HERE!

We had a wonderful weekend, a special Supper with some special friends (more like family) of ours going through the adoption process. They had a baby, they attended the birth, held and bonded with baby and 3 days later the mother changed her mind. It is such a difficult and heart wrenching situation for all involved.

My friend has been through more in one year then anyone can imagine and still she and her husband stand strong! My friend lost her best friend to an aneurysm, lost her mother 6 mos ago from cancer, had to have a total hysterectomy only 3 mos ago and now this with the adoption falling through. She is such a inspiration and makes me want to smack myself when one of those pity parties starts creeping on!  We had a wonderful time of fellowship and the boys had a wonderful time climbing all over Uncle Dan like he was a jungle gym!

This is a fun week for us as we don’t have much going on except a Dentist apt for Dominick on Wednesday.

Please add any prayer requests to your post so we can pray for you!

1.     Bible Study/ Devotions ~ Christ in Christmas A Family Advent Celebration, plus daily bible reading..

2. "Must Do"~ (Not the “To Do” list but the “Must Do” list!)

This week I Must Do…

  • Finish up Christmas cards! (If you would like to exchange Christmas cards with a blogging buddy “ME” please email me with your addy and we can exchange Christmas cards! Tiany@cox.net
  • Go to Post Office

Train Them Up~ Along with working a bit in the unit studies below, this will be our craft and baking week, I will share pics from the fruits of our labor next week! J

French onion soup is one of my favorites. I keep saying I'm going make it in the slow cooker... one of these days!

Sounds good! We really like the rellenos casserole. It is so easy to make, too!
