Today will be my last day of blogging till after Christmas! No Monday Meanderings or WW next week!
My sister is coming on Saturday and I am beside myself with excitement, she is my “other” other half. My sister and I are best friends and have the such fun acting like silly girls together. We play with the boys all day then put them to bed and then its girls night, we stay up late vegging out and watching girly movies (mostly the Jane Austen or Janette Oaks movies). Needless to say my computer is off limits when she is here except for checking in on email and comments before bed
Tomorrow (Friday) I will be getting up bright and early to finish up on groceries and gift shopping (Can you believe im not done? )
I have a few “Thank Yous” to share with some lovely friends and I would like to do that now for my Show N Tell!
A while back I participated in Kathleen's Ornament Exchange and I received the cutest peppermint “JOY” ornament from Heather at "Not A DIY Life", she also included some yummy peppermint hot cocoa!!! Thank you !!! It is so very pretty on our Tree!

I also have to send a Thank You to Amy from "Milk And Cookies", she was my Swap sister for the Homeschool Blog awards swap and she sent us the neatest treats! The boys were so excited she sent us lots of fun cake & cupcake decorations and the cutest Christmas Scrapbooking papers! Thank you Amy!!! I can’t wait to use them!

Now for the last little part to my “Show N Tell”...

Beginning in January, The Heart of the Matter will be revamped into a CWO-inspired online magazine for homeschooling moms. It will be designed and written in the same format as CWO with standard monthly columns and regular daily posts, interviews, memes, giveaways. Darlene Schacht will be promoting it on CWO!
Now are you ready for the SHOCKER??? The ladies putting this together have asked if I would like to be a contributor!! After talking it over with hubby and praying about it I said YES! I have lots on my plate but I figure the times I post over there I will just cross post.
I am so excited about this ministry they are putting together, I am shocked and amazed that my name would even come to mind because I am not a writer but I guess I will wing it and we will see how it goes! I figure the Lord would not place such an opportunity in my lap if he did not have something planned for it, right? The writers and contributors for this new Magazine are some of my favorites, I am in great company. I pray this new venture will be a blessing and a great source of support for all homeschool moms! I will be sure to let you all know when it is up and running!
Well that’s it, I am going to enjoy my little bloggy break and miss you all to pieces!! I wont post but I will visit your S & T posts on Friday! You all have become a part of my daily activity and I am so very blessed by each and every one of my blogging sisters! I pray you all have a very Merry and JOY Filled Christmas with your friends and family as you meditate on and celebrate the birth of Christ!Click below to read the many reason why he came!

Isaiah 9:6 is the Old Testament prophecy that was fulfilled in the birth of Jesus,
and recorded in Luke 2:11.
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his
shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God,
The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
~Isaiah 9:6~
"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."
