Please email me Tiany@cox.net so we can pass your info onto the publishers!!!

Yes I know its a bit early but im  trying to hold you all over till my "BIG" surprise is unleashed!   It seems to get pushed back more and more but I promise its coming and hopefully it will be well worth the wait. In the mean time , how about another contest???

A Valentine contest and gift to FOUR of my friends! Seeing as I have 4 boys , Valentines around here are full of hearts, balls, bugs and dirt, so don't be surprised that this Valentine is not the girliest of gifts!  We will get back to the contest in a second but first...

I  have to share with you about the "Write Like Mike" contest being held by
Walden Media.

So what is the Write Like Mike contest and why would anyone want to write like him?  Mike Lupicia is a sports columnist and homeschoolers are encouraged to write a column about a sports activity.

One Grand Prize winner will win the following:

  • His or her winning sports column will be published in a Spring 2008 issue of The Old Schoolhouse Magazine;
  • A signed library of Mike Lupica books;
  • The winner will receive one thousand dollars ($1,000) to be given to the church, school or educational non-profit of their choice.

To read compete contest rules and information, as well as to enter the Write Like Mike contest please click HERE.

Mike Lupicia has also written two books about The Comeback Kids and FOUR of you lucky readers will win this great set of two books! YES I SAID FOUR READERS ARE GOING TO WIN A SET OF BOOKS!

Dedication, teamwork and heart make Mike Lupica's Comeback Kids series a touchdown for young readers. Meet basketball great Billy Raynor (Hot Hand) and star drop-kicker Scott Parry (Two-Minute Drill). Both boys strive to be team players on and off the playing field. However, when faced with seemingly insurmountable obstacles, each character must reinvent his strategy if he wants to keep playing the game.

This series is recommended for readers between ages 8 to 11. Each subsequent title will feature a new protagonist, sport and challenge to overcome. Look out for future Comeback Kids books soon!

What do you have to do to enter the contest to win the books?  Just leave a comment but please  leave a way for me to contact you!! You must be at least 18 years of age and live in the U.S.

This contest will end February 9th!

Happy Valentines & Happy commenting!

Hey Tiany!
I haven't been by in awhile due to some unwanted drama in our lives here lately. But God is in control. I'm just so happy to have time to do some blogging last night and tonight again! I'm really happy to have been able to visit here with you. I see you've been a busy momma. The chocolate pudding photo is so "sweet" excuse the pun! Love you girl.
