The perfect workout for Homeschool moms! The Alphabet Workout!

Lately, I have not had the time or the energy to workout at the gym, which I never liked to begin with. I would much rather workout at home but sometimes little ones get in the way or use me as a jungle gym. :-)

Recently my sister shared with me a very easy and family friendly or child friendly workout with great results! The Alphabet workout!

You can view the video below, I use a medicine ball and the boys use their bounce balls. You can make it as simple or difficult as you like. I have been doing this every other day along with a few other simple routines and resistance exercises and it has helped immensely!

Eating healthy, taking my Super Mom vitamins and getting in some exercise does wonders for my energy and strength! :-)

If you work out or do some sort of exercise please share with the rest of us!

Share a Blessing! Send to a Friend!

When the weather permits, I have been riding my bike. I need to do my walking DVD when I can't ride. I can't ride when it is too humid or raining. I hope you continue to be successful in this alphabet exercise with your sons. I am sure they love it.

I love to walk but the heat and humidity kill it for me! The boys do love the alphabet workout. :-)

seems all I do is exercise. I dont get out of bed before I have done 30 minutes worth of leg lifts and bends and smoke and ashes permitting, I ride my stationary bike. Yesterday I was so disgusted I put on my surgical mask and when outside (the bike is on my porch) and rode 5 miles in a little over 15 minutes.

I love my new knee and the Lord blessed me with such an amazing recovery I can't imagine not working this hard to keep it working to its full potential.

Hopefully once the smoke clears I can walk around the block again. (0:

That was really neat and looked like something we all could do! I had never seen a weighted ball before. Amazing! Thanks for sharing this!

I've hardly had a minute to think of me since my 5th & 6th (twins) were born; it shows & I feel it. I like this; looks like fun & worth a try since the kids would probably get a kick out of it (or at least enjoy watching me LOL), & it doesn't take too long. I'm also thinking of dusting off my little bouncer since that's low impact & I have bad ankle right now. gotta remember those vits too; they do make a difference. Since giving up wheat I've felt a bit better too.

What a neat workout! I'm going to use it. I just ordered a beginners yoga video for the kids and I because we checked one out from the library that they really enjoyed. I'll incorporate this too, and we'll have some fun!
