I am now on day 3 of the master cleanse and I feel much better today then I did the first two days...
The first morning I woke up hungry and wondering how I would ever make it LOL I usually am not hungry till lunch time because I drink a nice large cup of coffee first thing in the AM which curves my appetite but this is such a bad habit as breakfast really is such an important meal. I made my lemonade concoction and prayed lots and made it through the first day.
Yesterday, the second day I was feeling very tired and sluggish and I had a little incident... Last night I went Grocery shopping and went through the store rather quickly to get it all done and make it home in time to help put the boys to bed and makeChaton The Homeschool Lounge (It was great fun by the way, you oughta join us!)
Anyway, I started getting a little light headed in the store from walking pushing too fast, so I slowed it down, took some deep breaths and ate a banana! Yep, you read right I ate a banana, I figured it was the best thing to do at that given time other then pray, which I did. LOL I sat in the parking lot eating one of my just purchased bananas and I was fine. I think I was trying to run a marathon in the store and that was not a good thing. I should have taken it easy and drank one of my lemonade drinks before I left to give me a little energy. I am disappointed that I ate but I am going to continue on anyway!
Making a taco dinner and serving everyone was no fun either LOL made me just a tad irritable and I tried to get through it as quickly as possible.
Today I feel good the cravings are not as bad the headaches have subsided , I am not craving my coffee (much). I am tolerating this ok , we shall see how the next few days go... I will be sure to let you know!
Hey Sweety!
Good luck on that cleansing. It sure can't hurt! I've had a blast looking at your older posts. I haven't been by to visit in quite some time, but I have thought of you often. I just made it a goal to get by here tonight no matter what! God bless you!
Tiany,
Wow!! I don't know if I could be strong enough to do this for ten days. Especially, when you still have to cook. I can totally understand the irritability. I would have had the same reaction at the grocery store. My blood sugar gets too low and I am ready to drop.
I hope you make it through.
Blessings,
Ruth
I have done cleanses in the past because of what I thought was gallbladder pain, as well as trying to clean the sugar out of my body--since it makes me crave and overeat, I have also done Richard Schulze's colon cleanse in addtion to the liver cleanse. Ideally I'd do it twice a year.
For the first 3 days I had a headache (due to coffee withdrawl I figured) and after that it was easy physically but emotionally it was very hard. I wanted to eat, and I had to prepare regular food for the family, and see it, and smell it and it was HARD!! It made me cranky truth be told. I have to say that I slept so much better after doing it for 2 weeks, I cannot believe I went back to my old ways. Look forward to hearing how it went all in all for you! Oh, and I lost 10 lbs....but it's not really that shocking cuz I have a LOT to loose.
