Louisiana has not seen snow like this since 1940!!! The boys were up and out the door bright and early at 6:30 am to play in the snow. We had the time of our lives, you would have thought we won a million dollars we were so excited! LOL
A very funny video of Troy pulling the boys on a homemade sled is to come....
Your pictures are great and we can certainly understand the fun you are having ... we have almost a foot of snow here ... probably will till March ... feel free to come visit us in MN sometime ;-)
Blessings~

My parents are currently in Baton Rouge and my mom hadn't seen snow since they moved from NH in ''99. She was in heaven! I got loads of pictures from her too. Glad your family was treated to such a special day. Ain't God good?
So pretty! I am from South Texas so I understand. I was in high school last time we had snow back in 1985. I remember being so excited! What I don't remember was being so cold! Seems like your kids enjoyed the unusual weather!
How neat that your boys got to enjoy the snow! Though we live in an area where we get quite a bit of snow during the winter, it is always exciting to see that first snow of the year.
DD left to go shopping with my mom this afternoon. As they were leaving, it started to snow. There is just enough to cover the ground. It's always fun to Christmas shop in the snow!
Now that's some snow! Are you sure that's the south? LOL My sister is in New Orleans. It's unreal. Oh the memories that you are making. I can't wait to see your tree in its decor. I know your little ones will do a great job.
Thanks for your prayers and just when I needed them most. This month has been an ordeal. I will have to fill you in via email when I have the chance but you are such a blessing. Your sweet spirit comes across so vividly. I'm so glad to have you as my friend and prayer warrior. Thanks so much.
