It is sunny and not horribly hot today. We are going to spend the weekend decluttering one room and relaxing here at home. We have been running , running, running and it is time to be still.
We have started our more formal lessons back up as of Monday and we have had a good week so far. :-) We had our Back to Homeschool Bash yesterday and the boys had a great time! I have pics on my Facebook page. I can easily upload pics from my iPhone to my Facebook profile so I tend to add lots of pics there since I have many relatives that check in. I will try to get some pics on here too.
Well, I hope you all have a very blessed homeschool year with your blessings, may we always keep our eyes on the Lord and allow him to lead and guide us through our days!
Below is a wonderful song I wanted to share with you. Enjoy and have a great weekend!
Good Morning Ladies, I am so very sorry for my absence the past couple of days. We (family & I) have all been sick with the Flu and it has not been pretty. I am feeling much better now and hope it will pass the children quickly.
I am also dealing with some feminine / health issues and praying for a complete healing for my body from all sickness and disease! The following scripture spoke out to me today for more reasons then one...
Exodus 15: 26And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
Submission
Submission is a willingness to yield or surrender. Today Im talking about submission to a Higher Power the God who made us. He doesnt demand that you submit; He gave you a free will. Do you every wonder what would have happened in the Garden of Eden if Adam had submitted to Gods instruction? He chose to disobey God. When I read the first three chapters of Genesis, I realize that it was Gods plan to have a close relationship with His children. Through Christ Jesus we have access to God and His original plan for man if we yield to His instruction, if we humble ourselves before Him. Jesus said, If you abide in Me and My Word abides in you, ask whatever you will and it shall be done for you.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, I humble myself before You, Your will not mine be done. I will mediate on your Word day and night. By the grace of God I will be an obedient doer of your Word, so my pathway will be prosperous and successful. I renew my mind to your Word, and pray that your Word will dominate my thoughts, words and actions. I submit to Truth so that I will not be seduced or deceived by the works of the devil. I am strong in you, Lord, and in the power of your might. Today, I choose Life and the Blessings of Deuteromony 28. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
I pray that each of you has a very blessed week; may you hear Him and feel HIS presence in all that you do!

Matthew 13 18Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.
19When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
20But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
21Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
22He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
23But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
May we not allow the wicked one to take Gods word from our heart..through trials, through joys, tribulations and stresses...may we stand unwavering and strong, grounded in his word through faith and by HIS grace!

In the last days there will be wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes and famine (Matthew 24). These are the signs of the times...the last days in which we are living. Fear can become a stronghold in our lives. In her book, Shattering Your Strongholds, Liberty Savard writes that fear "is erected around great apprehension and anxiety over unresolved experiences and memories." Ask God to show you how to resolve past painful experiences. Practice praising God and meditate on Psalm 91, Isaiah 41:10, John 14:27, 2 Timothy 1:7 and Psalm 56:3-4. When you face your fears they will fall helplessly behind you. Choose to believe God's word and drive fear out of doors.
Free From Fear
Father, in the name of Jesus, we shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow [the evil plots and slanders of the wicked] that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprises and lay waste at noonday. We establish ourselves on righteousness in conformity with God’s will and order. We shall be far from even the thought of oppression or destruction, for we shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near us. Amen. May you all have a very blessed week...Happy Homeschooling! Tiany
My favorite verse from today's reading...
Let us daily find wisdom through the words of God!
Proverbs 3:13-15
13Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
14For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
15She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

Generational Blessings
In our family my parents left us a legacy of faith in God. We experienced His power to heal, saw Him provide clothing, food and shelter. They lived their faith, were diligent in their work, and prayed with us and for us! Establish the will of God in your home. Your children are precious gifts from God, the Father, and your greatest ministry is training and teaching your children by word and action that they are valuable and precious to God and to you.
PRAYER:
Our Father, Your kingdom come, Your will be done in our families even as it is in heaven; hallow Your name in our families. You chose us before the foundation of the world, and we thank You for pouring out Your Spirit upon our offspring, and Your blessings upon our descendants. You are contending with those who contend with us, and You are giving safety to our children and easing them day-by-day. Thank You for forgiving all our iniquities and healing all our diseases, and crowning us with loving kindness and tender mercies, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Keeping on track: I know this has been hard for all of us, it is hard with homeschool, home keeping, cooking and everything else that falls into our laps throughout the day. I would suggest getting a timer - setting the timer for 20 or 30 minutes and making the children sit with a quiet toy while you read. You could be in the same room as them and read aloud or alone while you let one of your older children buddy up with the younger ones.
I have found that right after lunch or while the boys are eating lunch is a good time for me to read because they have settled down and can easily be given something quiet to do. I will even throw a video in the DVD player for 30 minutes if I have to.
Giving the Lord our time is essential to get through our day. What we do day in and day out is hard work and can only be accomplished with Gods grace. If you think about it, we wont go a day without eating to nourish our bodies to keep going...why then do we always neglect feeding our soul? "Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4). In other words, if you want to live life to the fullest as God intended, listen and heed God's written word...it is even more important than eating!
Let us each remember to pray for one another to stay disciplined and consistent in our reading. (This is hard for me too ladies) My goal for this year is to not go one day without opening my Bible, have I fallen short...yes! LOL
Don't give it up if you get behind in your daily Bible reading...there is no time line to reading the Word of God, we will continue reading Gods word till the day we see his blessed face! Find time to get in his word because you want time with HIM, not because it is a chore and you have to.
The Bible is "God-breathed", it is God's Word to us.

Breaking Generational Curses Jesus gave us the keys to bind and loose. In His name we bind mercy and truth to the hearts and minds of our children. Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the table of your heart, and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man (Proverbs 3:3-4).
PRAYER: In the name of Jesus we bind the fear of God, the will of God, the grace and mercy of God and the blood of Jesus to our children's spirits, minds and bodies. We bind their minds to truth that makes them free, and whom the Son has set free is free indeed. We loose wrong perceptions about God, bad feelings toward others, thoughts of self-hatred, anxieties, the fear of rejection and the fear of man from them in the name of Jesus. You desire truth in the inner parts, teach them wisdom in the inmost place, and guide them in Your truth, for You are God our Savior. Amen. Germaine Griffin Copeland
