"Taylor" Made Home School

October has been full!

I have finally organized EVERY room in my house!  Yippee!  I am so thrilled to have this done.  I have been so overwhelmed with this project for the past year that I really didn't get anything done.  That was just frustrating.  So this is done just in time for me to leave for Idaho, to help my mother out while she is having her 2nd round with chemo.  I leave tomorrow.  I cannot wait to get up there and see everyone.

During the time of organizing my home, a friend and I got together to do a unit study on the Medival period.  That was so much fun.  We made swords, helmets, learned about the armour of God and had a Medival feast fit for a king.  We also had the fathers involved and had the kids perform a skit for them between courses.  That is such a great memory.

So I am off to finish up with the laundry and picking up the house.  Have a great two weeks.  Hopefully I will have pictures to show you.  If not I will just do my regular journal.

"We are called to be women. The fact that I am a woman does not make me a different kind of Christian, but the fact that I am a Christian does make me a different kind of woman. For I have accepted God's idea of me, and my whole life is an offering back to Him of all that I am and all that He wants me to be." Elisabeth Elliot
