Mar. 26, 2009 - The Little Princess
Hi Everyone!!!
Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. I have been as busy as a bee in a hive. No offense. LOL!!! School, meetings, extra curricular classes, chores, etc. have filled every second of my days. I keep thinking that as soon as this week is over, life is going to slow down a bit, but it never does. In fact, it usually gets even busier than before. (if that was possible)
In my absence, I have become very excited about The Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Why? Well, there is a play coming up that is (can you guess?) The Little Princess, and I would love to audition for it. I would probably end up being Anne or some one that has no lines at all, but it would still be a blast.
There are a lot of lessons to be learned through that story. Such as, we should be generous with what we have, even if our hands are empty we can give with our heart. Another is that no matter how hard life gets we are still God's princess. I could go into a lot more detail, but i don't have time to write it all out.

I don't know how to attach photos yet, so check out my photo album for pictures of Dande. Her real name is actually Dandelion, but we call her Dandy for short. (spelled D-A-N-D-E I know it's weird.)

Mar. 22, 2009 - Last Night
Hello! Last night me and Mom went to a Narnia play! It was so cool!!! The costumes were very pretty and handsome and cute etc., and the special effects were awesome!!! I knew some of the actresses from some homeschool classes that I take. One of them was from Life of Faith (a hope chest group). Another has been my lab partner in Biology a couple of times. My little brother's cat, Dande (Pronounced Dandy) was hit by a car last night. It is so sad!!! *tears roll down cheeks* It was 1:11am when my parents came into my room to tell me. I sat up and said,"What's wrong? What's the matter? Do we need to go somewhere? What's wrong?" Dad replied,"Nothing's wrong. What made you think that something was wrong?" "You're both in my room in the middle of the night,"I responded. Then he told me what had happened. Then we went to tell my brother. He was heart broken. She was one of the sweetest cats in the world!!! Let me tell you some of the things that made her so special. 1. She was very smart! It didn't take her very long to figure out anything. Such as, the door knob, it is not just a pretty little shiny thing that happens to be so beautiful that people can't resist coming up and touching it every once in a while; every time they touch it, it lets them outside or inside. Therefore, she would jump up and try to twist the door knob every time she wanted in or out. Whenever we heard her do that, we would go and let her out. I guess, she thought it worked. 2. She had the absolute weirdest meow ever. It is really hard to describe, but it sort of sounds like a bell. Like this bllllleeeEEEPPP. weird huh? 3. She was so affectionate. She would curl up by you and rub her face up against you. She was so easy to love! 4. It wasn't hard to get her to purr. She was always open to affection, and sometimes she would purr if you simply opened up the bag of cat food and put some in her dish, even if there is still plenty there already because you gave her some five minutes ago. 5. She was usually happy to see you. Always rubbing up against your legs and purring. 6. She loved to play. It didn't matter if it were with you, my cat(Daffy), or all by herself. Her and Daffy used to have the best of games, chasing each other around the house. I know that Daffy is really going to miss her. 7. She was always getting into the cutest positions ever! If you saw her just sitting there, she would just flop over. Something about your smile made her do that. 8. She was so cute. She was a gray tabby, but she had the neatest markings on her. For in- stance, she had a cute little orange spot on her head. I'll attach pictures of her later. 9. She was loyal to my brother. Whenever she heard him cry (or anybody for that matter) she would come running to comfort you. If it was night time, she knew that it was time to go to bed, and she would go to bed and curl up next to my brother. 10. She was obedient. If you called her, she would come. If you said "stop" or "no", she would stop. 11. She liked my singing. Whenever I start singing, it usually isn't long before she was there sitting by my feet. I think it is because she liked it, but maybe she something was wrong. I don't know, but I like to think the best. 12. and many many more Now, she is gone. Gone with the tide, never to return to this sinful world again. I am going to miss her terribly. ~A very sad TinyDappy

Mar. 18, 2009 - Hello
Today, we went to a palentology ( I don't think I spelled that right
) museum. It taught the evolution theory, and I just had to ingnore that. They also taught that the earth was millions of years old; which I had to ingnore also, but other than that I learned a lot. It was truly amazing though; because, it was built right next to the actual dig site where all the bones where coming from. I got to see tapirs, a new species of Red Panda, Sabertooth tigers, and several more other species. Anyhoo...enough about that.
