Press Toward the Goal

• Nov. 30, 2005 - Reality Check

"It seems like getting a good job is the most important thing."  Did I really hear my son say that? Is that what it seems like around here? That is why we emphasize math and science. What do you ladies think... is that the most important thing?

My heart's cry for my children is that it would be obvious that they had "been with Jesus." Acts 4:13 says, "Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus."

I want my children to be educated, but it is more important that they have the boldness that comes from having been with Jesus.

About Me

This is a place to record my thoughts and hopefully hear from other ladies about how to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord along with our children.
