From the Editor: New magazine and new to this blogging "thing."

I have to admit that I am behind the times in the world of blogging.  I didn’t realize how popular blogging was among home schoolers until I did a search on Google.  I was over at Wordpress for like a day and discovered I didn't like that blog site.  I don't know what it is because i didn't find it too difficult to use...probably personal taste.

Allow me to introduce myself…

My name is Joy and I’m a working, single parent who home schools a precious 10 year old child with special needs. I’m also the Editor of a new home school magazine called, “Today’s Home Educator Magazine,” also know as THE.  I feel very honored that I am being trusted to lead this wonderful project.  My goal is to present our readers with a “well-balanced” magazine.  Home schooling has changed so much in the last 10-15 years where you have different families doing different things.  We don't exclude religion from our magazine, but we also welcome a secular point of view.  Our goal is to make sure one will never dominate the other.
