It does look a bit like his style, but this one has a somewhat more "blending" feel, less of the extreme defining of lines that Charlie-Brown has, but a nice level of melding.
I myself am also a cartoonist, though of a somwhat different type. I use the Blender-3D program to make 3D animations and still-pics.
