I was delighted to wake up this morning and see I had 2, that's right 2 comments left on my blog last night, yes I am excited, yes it is sad I have got so much joy out of it and no my son did not share my joy when I woke him telling him how famous Mum is now.

Please Lord help the children understand it is worth them having hungry tummies as Mummy blogs away.

O.k I may not be as famous as jengresak, but 2 comments one after the other is very exciting and yes you are right I do not get out of the house much.

By the way I did leave the computer to feed the children, I am still their loving Mum, plus they wouldn't let up on it.

I completly understand your excitement with the comments!! I also get all goose bumpy when I see someone has left me a comment!! then I have to go back and see what I wrote - to make sure I din't write something really stupid or say something that makes me look bad! lol

Hi, I just found you from the "famous jengresak" blog. I saw that your birthday is February 27, 1970. Guess what? You and I share a birthday. I think that's pretty neat since I don't run into very many people with that birthday.

Yes, you were right. We celebrate Thanksgiving because the Pilgrims did.
The story goes (depending which book you read) that they arrived late in the year
and had to endure the hardships of winter. The next year, they learned to survive on the land (these were city folk before coming here) with the help of their new friends the Native Indians. Thanksgiving occured after their first harvest. They shared their bountiful feast with their Indian friends. The Indians also contributed by suppling venison and such. Thanksgivng is simply that a day to say,"Thanks"
