I think my chickens are laying invisible eggs. Sunday we went and got 19 laying chickens that were given to us. The man that gave them to us said they were laying close to 24 eggs a day. We have had them for 2 days now and either their laying invisible eggs or he just wanted to get rid of them. We'll just keep feeding them and see if they were just stressed from moving into a new home. Hopefully thats it because I want to get into the egg business.
Check out this picture and see if you see any INVISIBLE eggs.

If you are "free ranging" your chickens then you might have to hunt for the eggs since hens prefer to lay in privacy and they seem to pick the strangest places!
I hope that things start looking up for you and you see some production soon. You may not be able to sell many eggs but farm fresh eggs are very tasty and so much better for you than the store bought kind. We keep a small flock of about 15 free range and 15 in a movable cage (chicken tractor) just for our own eating and just about break even in buying feed. Right now we are getting about 10 to 12 eggs a day.
