Grand Canyon

Guess what?! Ok, you probably already know WHAT,
Ill just tell you anyway.
My family, I and my cousin's family are going to the Grand Canyon
this summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, I guess I'm just excited. We are planning to go in August.
Here are some facts about the Grand Canyon I found out...

1.

Did You Know?
No one has ever found a fossilized reptile skeleton or bone within the Grand Canyon. Fossil footprints were left by more than 20 species of reptiles and amphibians, but no teeth or bones!

Did You Know?
There are approximately 1,737 known species of vascular plants, 167 species of fungi, 64 species of moss and 195 species of lichen found in Grand Canyon National Park.

This girl in the video about the mountain lions is so funny!!!

She says something about mountain lions and says "Dont let that stop you from taking midnight walks!" The she starts talking about how mountain lions have powerful jaws and rips open their prey!!!!

Last day

HI all!

Today is Sunday.
We were still in the campsite. We were leaving that day.
When we were all packing up, I was sad that the weekend went by so soon.
We went down to the beach for lunch.
Me and my friend Michelle, biked down the hill. We zoomed down and I just loved how the wind blows through my hair and cooled me down.
We went to the playground and played for a while.
OH! I forgot to mention, there is this HUGE rope structure that looks like an eiffel tower.
We climbed to the top over and over again!!
It started to rain so all of us went home.
I realized, Hey, we are coming here next year!
So I cheered up! Now that we are home,
I took a shower and my muscles still hurt...
But it has been a fun weekend and I'm looking forward to TENT camping in August!

2nd Day (AKA= INTENSE TAG DAY)

HI AGAIN!

Well, as you know, there wasn't any internet over in the campsite so I couldn't update anything.
Anyway, that morning I had 2 chocolate chip pancakes,

a cup of "jook" (as some people know it, Rice Congee)

a cream cheese bagel,

(<<<< Then we went into one of my friends YURT and we played our DS for a little while.
And then off to the beach we go! We biked down to the beach and I wade into the water higher then my knees! I dried off with dry (and soft) sand and we went to the playground.
There we played an INTENSE game of tag for about an hour!!!

We HAD to bike up the long.... Steep.... hill... It took a lot out of me!
Salad, pasta, jook, shrimp, and french bread was what I had for dinner that night!

I had marshmallows and bubble tea for dessert! YUM!!
We continued that game of Battleship that night.

Arrival

Sorry, At the campsite there (OF COURSE) are no internet source so I couldn't update anything.
Anyway, when we arrived at the campsite, It was 9 o'clock PM. We settled in and my sister Jenna and I played a game of Battleship. (We made a grid with line paper and colored it w/different shades of crayons) Then we went to bed...

1st day of YURT camping

Hi all!
we are going to a clinic to see if my sister really has the chicken pox.
I wonder if it really is... Anyway, since she might not have the chicken pox,
My sister ( I'll just call her B) and my other sister (I'll just call her A) packed up their suitcases
SPEEDY QUICK. My mom is packing very slowly...
BTW, I have 3 sisters. There are 4 of us. There is J, B, and A. I am the oldest.
YURT camping and tent camping are so much fun! We always look forward to it!
