We are now in our 11^th week of homeschooling and still having fun.  For the first time last week I took my show on the road!  I packed up all of the necessary books and curriculum and the kids and I went with Charles on his business trip to Las Vegas, NV.  The first thing I learned is that Las Vegas is still for adults!  The last time I had been to Las Vegas, Charles and I had only been married 3 months.  Now almost 12 years later nothing has changed much but the new hotels.  We still had fun because Charles’ work with the churches in Las Vegas took us off the strip and we were able to see parts of the city we had never seen.  We also went to the Hoover Dam which the kids thought was fun.  We were in Las Vegas for a week and I realized that homeschooling in the hotel room was not difficult at all.  Homeschooling by the pool is much more difficult.  We are going to the Grand Canyon this weekend and next week we will be going to San Diego.  I will try to have school on the beach!
