Tweety Birth Announcement: Wordless Wednesday

This is a killdeer chick that Joy photographed last week. They are born in nests on the ground and are ready to run on their cute long legs as soon as they hatch. The parents were putting on a fantastic drama by limping around the yard, fanning their tails and calling to us to not look at their new born. They quickly reunited after Joy got the photos. Now we hope our kitty leaves them alone.
