Yesterday was the first day of Summer on the calendar and it did try hard to be SUMMER!
Someone said it was 90 degrees but it was about 70 some degrees at that time. It warmed
up as the afternoon progressed. Dd and I thought that 90 degree comment was funny. We
think it felt like 90 degrees to some folks because we aren't used to much over 50!

Today is overcast and humid but the nice warm air is just great even if the clouds
do have to roll in. I suppose it might rain. That will keep the dandelions growing.
We moved our horses back to our yard as I saw the dandelions were coming back
and blooming in our backyard. They have been in the neighbor's yard mowing the
lawn for them. It's nice to rotate our pastures,...er I mean lawns.  They are wonderful
at eating grass and dandelions. They will leave the orchard grass hay we buy them
to graze on the lawn. Our neighbor is thrilled she does not have to mow her lawn
and spend all the time or gas money on her mower. The horses are enjoying
eating and running around her yard too.
