The seminar went AWESOME. I managed to talk for 50 minutes, and then Q&A for another 30 minutes. I hope a lot of folks grab the freebie and want to buy the book. :-)

Cindy Rushton told me that only 1% of the listeners actually listen to it "live." The rest buy the Ultimate Homeschool Expo ticket and get access to ALL the seminars, freebies, etc. It's quite the deal.

And I was so tickled when my dad sent me the scanned pictures we'd looked at the other night. The full picture is of my grandfather in full regalia--goat's hair chaps and all--and a friend. They're in San Francisco around 1920. Big city "fun" I guess. They'd gone to a photographer's place. Don't ask me where they got the cowboy "gear" since my grandpa was born and raised in Mt. Vernon, WA, just up north. My mom thinks he looks like James Dean. :-)
But he had black hair and blue eyes. Now, why couldn't that have been passed on to us?

I'd love to enter you, Marie, but you never specified a book preference! LOL

And if I send you an "e-mail" version of the contest, with the links, could you pass it around your homeschool loop?

I'm guessing that you have joined Facebook and have no more time for HSB. Just the same, come by and visit my ranch and see our new little additions - I think you will enjoy the pics.
