• Mar. 13, 2007 - It's amazing to me...

how so many very dear Christian families who have such a heart for the Lord have missed the boat so badly when it comes to their children's education! I live in a community of 3000 people and I have just recently discovered that a homeschooling family just moved here and they are the only other homeschooling family in this and the surrounding communities. I have been a part of two different women's Bible studies and a church that is not connected to either of these and not a single family homeschools! I pray these dear people will come to the knowledge that wisdom and understanding comes from God alone! I pray that they will see that God does not view education the same way this world does. I pray that they will see that when God gifted them with those children He was choosing them to be the teacher! I pray they will see that education is not secular and in fact is just the opposite, that there is a worldview being taught to their children but it is not a Biblical one! I pray that they will see that there precious little ones are in grave danger physically and spiritually whenever they set foot in the public school, that only around 10% remain believers upon graduation and the number drops even more for those after college. I pray they will question why that is and what their kids are learning that would cause them to turn from their faith. Father please open their eyes to the truth laid out in your Word- help them to see that true education is not what they have been raised to believe! Show them the very costly error they are making before it is too late.
