Dec. 22, 2007 - Wild December
This year has flown by, but December had a pace all it's own! I cannot believe it is the 22nd already!
Some December Highlights-
~We had our first snow of this winter earlier this month. It did not really stick, but was beautiful to watch!
~The girls all made it through the semester! It was a tough one on many levels, but everyone survived! Victoria's grades have already been posted and she maintained a 4.0 again. Tiffany is dreading her grades, but think she did just fine. Emily's teacher (aka me) has not finished grading yet.
~Victoria came home December 8th. It has been nice to have some time with her, plus she makes me do yoga everyday!
~Tiffany is working at Barnes and Noble and will be home tomorrow night. She'll be home until she leaves for Italy January 24th (She will be spending next semester in Italy).
~A water pipe broke in our neighborhood and we were without water for several days. Things like that always make you appreciate having electricity and running water. Simple things we often take for granted!
We feel for those who went without power up to ten days during the winter storms in the mid-west/east coast!
Speaking of taking for granted. Our refrigerator/freezer went out two days ago. All the food went bad, including the extra items I had purchased for the holidays. I had also made things and froze them to make the holidays easier on me. It was hard to find a repairman to come out, as so many companies were already off for the holidays and this is a small town to begin with. Finally a nice company owner came out today, he is here right now...hoping the damage is not too bad. It will be nice to have a working refrigerator again!!
I hope this post finds you well and ready for the holidays! Wishing you warm and wonderful memories, safe holiday travel and a Merry Christmas!

Hope that you all had a lovely Christmas! I don't have your most recent address in order to send you a Christmas card.
Elizabeth sends Emily Christmas wishes ... I can't believe how your young ladies are growing up!
Take care, and blessings from lil ol' Pine Valley, CA!
