Museum of Natural History

I love the Museum of Natural History.  It is located on the University of Utah campus, the address is 1390 East Presidents Circle.  I wanted to let you know about some of the fun activities available there, some are even free- my favorite price

  • On the first Monday of every month, the UMNH offers extended hours and free admission. Guided Tours of the Museum are available at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Tours meet in the Museum Lobby and last approximately one-hour.
  • Is it “REAL” Science or “REEL” Science? Join us for FREE movie screenings the first Tuesday of each month to learn about the science behind the movies! Experts in the field will be on hand for each movie to debunk the movie science and/or to discuss how it relates to the latest in scientific discovery. The entire family will learn and have fun at the same time!  Note: even though this is put together by the Museum, it is held at the SLC downtown library
