Tomorrow is 42 weeks. We are still doing well but not holding a little squiggly baby yet, well, in our arms. Man, it must be nicer in there than I think it is. My patience is holding out pretty well I think. I don't feel like bouncing off the walls and I haven't said that I hope this pregnancy is over soon. I am pretty content with the Biophysical Profiles and midwife visits that all say things are going well. So I am going to wait a bit more before I start considering rushing things along. Today I am going to go grocery shopping unless someone can think of a recipe to feed 7 people using 6 oz of orange juice, 1/2 gallon of milk and 4 eggs and condiments. Yah, I thought it was a long shot. We also have an appointment that we need to take my mom to. Her chemo is going to be very, VERY expensive. Her portion, after Medicare pays, is $750 a treatment (once a week) so hopefully we can find some financial help for her. I am really just stunned that it could be so much. I am also very disappointed at the amount of help available to a senior that is not completely destitute. You can find a lot of help if you (the senior) have an income of 600. or less per month! 600.00! No one can live on that?! Just heat and electric here in the winter can get as high as 300. in a month! Ugh! I need to get off that subject, it gets me started on sooooo many other things. I should go anyway. I want to hop in the shower before we leave and would prefer to not have FROZEN hair when I step outside. Thanks for all the kind notes and prayers. They are all so appreciated. Jen |
