Who We Are We are the Vanderclan. Mom-Jennifer, Dad-Matt, A-12, P-10, K-8, M-5, G-3, J-newly born (and L, E, J & S playing at the feet of Jesus). This is our little corner to record the triumphs and tribulations we face in our walk with the Lord and our homeschool. We walk this road in faith. Faith that He will provide for our needs, faith that He will carry us through our tribulations. To that faith we add a bunch of kids, an ability to laugh at ourselves and love. And there you have it. After 43 weeks of pregnancy and a couple false alarms, he is finally here! Jonathan Samuel Was born at home on January 10, 2008 (his Nanny’s birthday!) At 1:08 am. (10 hours before his scheduled hospital induction—phew!) Weight: 9lbs. 4 oz. (our 2nd biggest) Length: 22 inches Both mom and baby are doing well enjoying their peaceful recovery at home! Praise the Lord for His provision (especially of our midwives) and perfect timing. With love, Jennifer |
