Today we went on a nature walk and collected things on the way...leaves, acorns, pinecones, sticks,and stones.  We counted how many items we had and practiced writing leaves, red, yellow, brown and orange.  We made a placemat using the leaves collected making a collage in clear contact paper.  Also today we worked with number flashcards I gave him the numbers from 1 to 20 mixed up and asked him to put them in order and then to pick them up I would ask him for a number if he got it right I took it and if not he put it back and I asked for a different number.  We read books earning toward his pizza prize at the end of the month.  We did the hokey pokey working on left and right.  Oh, we also made leaf rubbings before making the placemat.  That was our day!
