Chase and Alyssa had a great time when Auntie Lauri came from out-of-town and took them to see "Hello Grandma". They got to spend time with Grandma, eat pizza and brownies and best of all, be treated to a special toy from Grandma on a shopping trip.
Chase got a compact electric train set that he put in his room. Alyssa got a wedding veil, lace glove and jewelry set that she has been wearing ever since.
Here are her thoughts of the day:
Mom: Wasn't that so nice of Grandma to take you and let you buy such a pretty outfit.
Alyssa: Yes it was. That is why I did not want you to come Mom. I just wanted to get any gift that I wanted.
Mom thinks to herself: I can not believe I thought she might miss me! |
