We decided to take a little time off from homeschooling to attend a wonderful homeschooler's Valentine's Day party hosted by my wonderful friend Lori. She is so creative and such a wonderful hostess that she managed to turn the festivities into a splurge for the moms as well a riot of fun and creativity for the kids.
We moms had a wonderful "Spa Lunch" of Dill chicken, fresh baby greens with homemade honey-Dijon dressing and homemade pastry and tea. The kids loved their chicken nuggets and fruit and they enjoyed decorating cookies and treat bags as well as exchanging Valentines.
We all had so much fun that I am considering hosting a similar get-together next year! |
