There was a time when I was working outside of the home and feeling so overwhelmed that we frequently ate out because nothing I could come up with seemed quick enough. Now, my "fast food" is frozen chicken breasts from Sam's Club. They are very easy to cook and throw on a little salt, pepper and tarragon (my very favorite herb) and it even tastes a little gourmet.
I either cook them in a pan on the stove (I start by browning in a small amount of oil then add a little water and simmer with a lid for about 20 minutes. Or I put them on the gas grill on low or medium heat for about 15 minutes each side.
No defrosting needed!
Tonight, I cooked them on the grill. Yummy. Add a little BBQ sauce and the main dish is done. |
