My husband has been helping me learn Photoshop. We stayed up (too) late on Saturday night but it worked! I actually made my first digital layout! Can you tell which photo my husband (the professional) took versus the ones that I (the amateur) took?

Every year, together as a family, we take a trip on my son's favorite train, Thomas the Tank Engine.  This year it looked as if my husband could not make it.  He had a wedding to photograph every single day Memorial Day Weekend.  Praise God his Friday wedding did not start until later in the day and the tickets were not sold out for the midday ride.  And guess what? We were randomly assigned seats in the first coach which is the one with the biggest windows!  Chase loved it as always and Alyssa seemed to have a good time too.  It was a beautiful day all around. I love my family so very much and I am so grateful to God for allowing me to be blessed by them.

Also, a tip.  Flickr.com really is cool.  It took me some time to figure out how to make everything work over there but now I realize how powerful Flickr is.  If you stop by there, make me a buddy if you want.  Andrea R. at AtypicalLife already did.

Alright, this is fun but I better get to bed now.

I just wonder what he is thinking about when he is pensive like this. Some fantastic make-believe world is most likely brewing in his head as he is staring at his favorite toy of the moment- Dad's train from when he was child.
