It's Storytime at TOS, and we want you to know
Our contest deadline has just three weeks left to go!
So finish up your stories and please send them in,
Or if you haven't started yet, grab some paper and a pen!
Adults, give your fiction humor or heart-warming appeal,
And characters that seem so spectacularly real,
Encourage and inspire our readers with your very best
And please write your story in 2,500 words or less!
Hey kids 15 and under! The sky's the limit for you!
You can pretend that your family lives in the zoo!
What about a scarecrow who's afraid of birds?
Tell us all about them; you have up to 1,500 words!
Use your imagination and have fun all the while.
Let's see what you've got! Show us your creative style!
Are you wondering how to send those stories in?
It's so super easy, it will make you grin!
No need for a carrier pigeon or a fax machine,
We've got the easiest system you ever have seen!
You can upload it directly, right onto our site,
Along with your entry fee that is priced just right.
Or if you would rather, please send in your tale,
With a check in an envelope, now pop it in the mail!
At midnight on the 16th of March, this contest will close
And off to our impartial judges all the entries go.
Our expert panel was assembled from far and near,
And you can read all about them by clicking right here!
And just what will the winners receive you might ask?
It's an impressive prize package, indeed!
Gift certificates, curriculum, scholarships and more,
Why it's over $1,000 worth guaranteed!
PLUS, in TOS, the winning stories we will print,
It's your stories that we want, so c'mon take the hint!
So have fun creating your stories, whether you're about to finish or about to begin. Remember, there's still time to enter, and YOU just might be the one who WINS!
