The Revolutionary War Veterans Association is sponsoring "The
Appleseed Rifle Marksmanship and Heritage Project" this coming
weekend, April 18th and 19th in honor of American Patriots, the men
and women who stood together on this day at Lexington Green, The North
Bridge in Concord and along Battle Road back to Boston.
We will be sponsoring two day rifle marksmanship clinics in honor of
those men and women who knew that rifle ownership and marksmanship
were critical to a free nation. We will teach you how to build a
stable shooting position, how to find your natural point of aim and
shift it onto the target and then to execute the shot using "the six
steps to firing the shot".
Appleseed Shoots are family friendly, they are FREE to kids under 21,
FREE to Women and FREE to those in the Military (active, Reserve or
Guard).
We will also teach you about the importance of this day and how the
American Revolution did not start at Lexington Green, how within 12
hours of Paul Revere's alert there were 22,000 men under arms marching
towards Concord to protest the British Regulars attempt to consficate
Colonial firearms.
