Open to the public. Parents, educators or anyone interested in educational materials, art supplies, hands-on projects,reading materials, etc, are welcome to attend. See our exhibitor list here.
Admission Prices
Pay at the Door - No Pre-Registration Required!
Please note; check or cash only (cash machine available on site)
WHO Members Get 1 Day FREE!
Adults:  $15 per day
Child:    $5 per day
Family:  $35 for 1 day - $45 for 2 days (Family rate applies to those living in the same household).

Bring the whole family! Activities include:
  • Simultaneous exhibitions with Chess4Life founder and National Master Elliott Neff, along with National Master John Graves. Come out and test your skills as these chess masters take on up to 35 competitors at one time! While waiting to play, enjoy chess on a 'giant chess set' or just play with friends - see schedule here.
  • A huge pond with remote control boats by Camp Woodworth.
  • Make It/Take It activities, plus a drawing for a sewing machine by Tacoma Viking.
  • Model train display by The National Model Railroad Association.
  • Live Animals brought to you by The Humane Society of Tacoma and Pierce County.
  • Old time music jams from 11am to 2pm daily by Washington Old Time Fiddlers.
  • Student Expo Display hosted by WHO.
  • Art Classes held daily by Julie's ARTClass - see schedule here.
  • History on Wheels vehicle display.
  • LEGO train & display.
Nursing Mothers' Room Available

While there is not an official "Children's Program", we welcome children at the Convention. We do ask that any fussy or crying babies or children be immediately removed from any WORKSHOP SESSION  so as not to ruin the convention experience for those around you.

Parents assume all responsibility for their children and their behavior.
