Dear Friends,
I am delighted to invite you to join me for an evening with Franz Schubert as I present Schubert, The Man Behind the Music, Part 2.
On Thursday, September 17th and Saturday, September 19th, I will be playing another set of his well-loved Impromptus, Waltzes
and the great A major Piano Sonata. Once again, we will journey back to the time of Schubert through recollections of his friends
and colleagues, as well as Schubert himself. I have attached a pdf of the invitation and the specifics.
I want to thank many of you for the wonderful emails and letters that I received after the last concert letting me know how much you enjoyed
the evening. I promise this will be another opportunity to step away from our day-to-day world and its challenges and be transported to a time
when music, friendship and gaiety flourished in the parlors of Vienna.
It will be a great evening and I do hope to see you there. If you have enjoyed my other concerts, feel free to share this email with your friends.
Thank you and see you soon.
Warmly,
Wolfgang Wortberg

The intimate moving performance was one that
we will never forget. Mr. Wortberg brought
the composer to life through spoken narrative
that revealed his in-depth knowledge about
the composer. The performance enveloped the
audience with his passion for the music and
his profound technical mastery.
Music lovers should not miss his next recital.
