Sep. 5, 2008 - Still trying to refocus
We have not started back school yet or really started a true new school year. My plan is to start Monday but I don't know. I want to have us totally focused on God and things just don't seem to be that way. Something is getting in the way. It is really hard trying to juggle the things of God and the things of the world. Keep praying for us please.

When I'm feeling out of sorts I just make sure that the basics are taken care of. For our family it means that there are simple meals, laundry washed and dried, quick cleans of the house and Bible study with the children. I do not feel pressure to have formal school every day. Some seasons of our lives are busier than others. Hopefully you can just decide what are the bare essentials for your family right now and get those done.
