Big Splash!!!
Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
On May 30th, I went to Big Splash! Just incase you don't know what Big Splash is, it is like this concert event at Wild Waves. For most of the day you can go on the rides and such, and then near the end of the day they close all that down and there are a few concerts. The bands that played this year were Amber Pacific, Canton Jones, Stellar Kart, and Jars of Clay I love Jars of Clay, and now I like Canton Jones too. I never heard of him before, but almost as soon as he started playing, I loved his music :-). I only wish Switchfoot could have been there too... I won't be able to see Switchfoot this year... :-(. I was going to go to a concert, but I decided I was going to go to a youth group camping trip :-).
This year's youth camping trip isn't at Creation Fest. It is near there, but it is somewhere called the potholes. We are close to a lake, and we are bringing one of our friends boats so we get to go water skiing and everything we can think of to do with a boat (except, like my youth pastor said, running eachother over lol). And of course we don't want to break the boat or anything... lol.
I hope that Heather's baby isn't born a month early, because if it is, it might be born at the camping trip... that wouldn't be too good... but then it would probably be like the old days, when sometimes you couldn't get to the doctors or the doctor couldn't come... if that happens, Obie will have to deliver the baby... :-/... lol. And the youth group would all be worried because we would hear Heather screaming... and Obie would probably freak out... ok ok ok... I need to calm down. That is probably not gonna happen. :-) But if it does, Obie will be there for Heather, and Baby Sorter.
