Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Ok, I am a few days late to tell you about Grubby Games, but oh well! Anyway, Grubby Games is an event that my youth group does each year. It is like the Olympics/fear factor... lol. Here are the games that my youth group did this year:
Water-balloon-covered-in-chocolate toss:
In this game, Noah chose to be the victim. All the rest of us were blind-folded. We had to try to throw chocolate covered water balloons at Noah while Obie (the youth pastor) was saying, "Marco!" and Noah said, "Polo!" He could try to dodge the balloons, but he did get hit a few times lol.
Inch Worm:
One person from each team got wrapped in plastic wrap, and we had to try to inch along the ground to a banana, eat it, and then inch back. I failed miserably lol.
Gross Apple Bobbing:
This one was just apple bobbing, but there was pork and beans in the water.... Just Noah and Bryson did it, and Bryson won! He was on our team.
Jello Tube:
With this one, Obie put jello in a curved tube. One person from each team stood on each end of the tube. Then, we tried to blow the jello to the other person so that it would go in their face lol. I won against Taylor... hehehe
Whipped-Cream-Cheese-Puff Toss:
With this one, one person from each team got their face covered in whipped cream lol. Then, the rest of their team had to try to throw cheese puffs and get them to stick to the whipped cream... lol
Spell With and Eat Spaghettios:
In this game, we had alphabet spaghettios, and we had to spell as many words as we could in three minutes. Then after that, we had to eat all the meatballs as fast as we could lol... good thing I like spaghettios!
Mystery Food:
In this game, we had to get a sandwich bag from Obie and eat whatever was inside... I ate sourcrout and... canned spinach... yuck!
Cameron's stomach couldn't handle the baby food... lol.
Horse and Cowboy:
In this game, two people from each team were horses and the other two people were cowboys. The horses had nylon... things...(idk what to call them lol) on their head so that an egg would stay on their head. The cowboys had to try to break the other horse's egg... lol. I didn't get my egg broken! Yay! lol
Pass the Lifesaver:
With this game, you had to try to pass lifesavers with straws... and it didn't work very well. Taylor got really nervous lol because at one point she was inches from Noah's face lol... it was funny to watch, and Heather (Obie's wife) took a picture of them... at least I think it was Taylor and Noah... Maybe it was Taylor and Isaiah... I don't remember... but anyway it was funny lol.
After all the games, we had pizza! Then we watched dvd's of Tim Hawkins, a Christian Comedian. I really laughed at this one:
And this one:
Oh my gosh poor Tim... lol. Maybe he should have brought his Bible with him...
