I feel the need to be serving at my church, but I am not sure what I should try for.
According to the S.H.A.P.E. discovery tool at my church, My spiritual gifts are:
Teaching ( big shock right?) Faith Knowledge Prophecy and Wisdom.
Creative communication was only 1 point lower than the lowest gift.
I would consider it a gift too.
I can act pretty well, I have always been a good singer, and God gives me songs
to write and sing about Him. I get stage fright, so I intentionally scored lower than I
would now in that department. People keep telling me what a wonderful voice I
have, but the worship team is never asking for female vocalists.
It gets busy around here with Raymond's treatments, schooling 3 kids with ADHD
and other issues, working part time, managing finances and the like. I feel
too tired some days to do many outside activities.
We school all year round, so summer is not much of a break.
I have asked about the following ministries : support and recovery,
programming, drama, worship, organizing and vocals pregnancy center,
kids group for support and recovery, web site.
My passions are:Music, The Unborn ,Nature, Disabled people,
Parenting, Homeschooling, Education, knitting.
We'll see what happens! |
