Sunday, July 22, 2007 - Better Behavior Wheel is Working

Rowan is improving a whole lot in his obedience, and his cleaning up after himself. Last night he made a huge mess of the kitchen and living room including making "ponds" in containers of water on the table
( soaking the floor in the process), getting out about 12 books, using craft supplies and leaving scraps of paper on the floor. He cleaned it up all by himself, and I didn't have to nag him at all! He even cleaned up things I didn't ask him to put away! For 2 weeks in a row now, his Sunday School teachers have said that he was very good and that he prayed for the class when they asked for a volunteer. He answered the questions in class correctly ( a vast improvement since he usually has trouble paying attention at all) and talked about wanting to obey his mom! YIPPEE!
Harley got to spin the "Wheel of Just Desserts" as a reward for not having to spin the better behavior wheel yesterday. He won a trip to the movies! Trinity got her list of chores completed, unfortunately, though she got mouthy late last night and earned another 3 spins. Laundry duty again..... |
