Spelling Bee

Three homeschool groups combined to have a 1st-8th grade spelling bee.  Ariel chose to participate.

The competition was tough this year.

She studied 50 words a day for 3 months and practiced the hard words several times and the result...

She won 1st place for her division.  I'm so proud of her:)

Madeline is standing with the nursing home ministry team from our church.  We have been the worship team for this group every other Saturday.  I play guitar and Madeline sings.  The residents also lead several songs and they have blessed us so much we feel they minister to us equally.

Madeline also volunteers her time in the worship band  for the Jr. high fellowship at our church.  This isn't the best picture but she is to the right of the lead singer in front of the bass player.  There is a girl in a white coat jumping up and down in front of her.  The kids love the worship time:)
