We’re taking a blogging break.

We had an early snow when our Grandma was here. We went sledding. Hawk tried to do a 360' in the snow with his snowboard. He didn't get to do it. It was very funny. Our Grandma took a lot of pictures to prove to her lady friends at work that we had snow. The leaves were just turning where she lives.  We built a few snowmen.

I have been reading a lot. It is fun. We went to my friend's house today to get more books for me to read. She has the complete collection of ABeka readers.

We have just won a big turkey from a general store my Dad goes to almost every day to buy milk. We're going to eat it for Thanksgiving.

Tomorrow Gollum and ScottCosta are going to try to get a deer in our forest. My Mother hopes they miss. I think it would be cool to taste a deer.

Tomorrow Al is going to get some new ski boots at a ski sale. He has the biggest feet so he gets the new stuff first.

One of my other friends loaned us The Black Stallion on cassette. I enjoy listening to it. Our pony is black, too.

We are back from our trip.

I had a good time. We saw cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandmas. I liked building sand castles. We saw National museums. That is the first time I walked around Washington, DC for such a long time.

I am glad to be back home.

Their is a radio show called Adventures in Odyssey.  Some of the episodes are funny, and some of them are scary.  My favorite character is Harlo Doyle, Private I.  He is very funny.  I also like Wooten. He is really, really funny.  Try to find the show to listen to it.

Soon we will be leaving on our trip. You can read about it here while I'm gone.

Our dogs and cats bring us mice and bones when we get back home again. I wonder if they will do it this year.

We have to keep our chickens and ducks in a new barnyard pen while we are gone. It is 6 feet high. I hope we don't have to clip their wings.

I like seahorses.  I want to get one.  They have to live in salt water.  I have only seen them on my Grandma's Sea World videos.  We are going to look at them on the computer.  If I get one, I am going to put pretty fish in with them.  The father seahorse keeps the babies in his pouch.   

We're going to go on a trip pretty soon. First I'm going to go to my Grandma's, then to Washington, DC, then to my Uncle's in NC near the beach, then the beach house in VA. I think it's going to be fun. I'm looking forward to swimming at the beach and exploring my Uncle's very big house.

I haven't been to my Uncle's house yet. He built it himself. It has 3 floors, and a deck up top.

Last time we visited, it wasn't done. He took us out on his motor boat.  We went fishing and rode around.

Our Grandma in NJ has 6 cats.

We put our pool up and we are swimming in it. We planted our garden.

I like Star Wars. My brother Hawk has Star Wars Legos. I have a few Star Wars people. He shares his Star Wars ships with me.    We watched the 4th episode, the first Star Wars movie they made, way back. I liked Obijuan Kenobi because he had the Force. I think Obijuan Kenobi's Force was stronger than Darth Vader's, but God's Force is the best.

I like to read and play.

My Father went on a trip. I've been treating my Mom good.

I like the Wargs in Lord of the Rings. I like them because they look like hyenas.

We cleaned out our pool and we are looking forward to swimming with our Dad. 

I have been doing Math. It is fun! I like doubles.

I found a nest of tent-moth caterpillars. I put them in a jar and put leaves in from the type of tree where I found them. I feed them every day and they are big now. They haven't built cacoons yet. After they build their cacoons, they will turn into moths, and I will set them free.   

Gollum tagged me. I have to write 6 things about myself.

I went to a bug banquet. I didn't eat any bugs. My Dad and TheEntomologist did. Some students ate bugs, too.

I want to eat the dancing hot dog on my blog because I am hungry right now. I like lots of different foods. My favorites are tacos, pizza, macaroni & cheese, and rolls, all homemade.

We like to listen to a radio show called Adventures in Odyssey. I like Harlow Doyle, Private Eye. He is funny and sneaky.

My desktop is all Carabus auratus insect. My Dad is an entomologist. That is a bug scientist.

My brothers and I have been shooting cap guns outside.  We saw the first spring flowers next to our upper barn. They are yellow Crocus flowers. It has been hot around here.

My younger brother had a birthday a little while ago. He had a rocketship cake.

My Grandpa died a few weeks ago. He gave me rides on his electric wheelchair when I visited him.

  I am excited about my blog.  I love horses a bunch.  I have a horse named Ebony.  She's a black horse with a white blaze.  I feed her grain and hay.  I clean her stall.  She gives me kisses in the morning.

  I feed the chickens, too.  I have a chicken named BC for Black Chick.  She is very shiny black, and her feathers also glow green.  She is easy to catch.
