Home School Book Battle
4th-9th Graders
Coordinators - Amy Stanley and Jennifer Scheler
What is Book Battle: Students in 4th - 9th grade are eligible to participate. Students receive a list of 32 books to read. They are assigned to a team of 2-3 other students. They and their team should read as many books as they are able and keep some type of notes so they remember some of the important details. During the actual battles, from Feb. to Apr., students will participate in a game show type competition, answering questions about the books and receiving points for the correct answers. There will be a winning team with prizes awarded. More details will be given during the informational meeting.
Where: Goodwill Community Room - 1400 Nike Drive, Waukesha, WI 53186. Nike drive is located right off of Main St. and Hwy 164.
Parking: Parking is available in the lot directly to the west. Please enter the lot from the second (Bus and Truck) entrance off Nike Drive which goes around the rear of the building and past the loading dock. There is no access to the west lot from the main lot. To exit, drive out the same way past the dock area and exit onto Nike Drive.
