Summerfest

Paying to get into Summerfest every day can get quite pricey, but did you know that the admission price varies depending on when you go? Better yet, did you know that there are specials running every day through which you can get in for free? If you're a Summerfest die-hard, taking advantage of these daily admission deals could save you a lot of money.

 

Regular Admission

Adults: $15 after 4 p.m. weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday
Adults: $8 noon to 4 p.m. weekdays
Seniors (60+): $3
Children (3-10, with adult): $3
Children (2 & under): Free

 

 

Free & Discount Admission Deals

All admission deal exchanges take place at the Mid-Gate promotions tent between the hours of noon and 3 p.m. unless otherwise stated.

Thursday, June 25: Stomp out Hunger with FOX 6
Bring three non-perishable food items to the Mid-Gate promotions tent or the North Gate between noon and 3 p.m. to receive one free admission ticket. Donations benefit Hunger Task Force.

Friday, June 26: Cedar Crest Day
The first 1,500 visitors to come to the Mid-Gate promotions tent with a lid and a receipt for the purchase of one 48 ounce Cedar Crest ice cream from either Woodman’s of Sendik’s Food Markets, dated between June 1 and June 26, will receive a free admission ticket.

Friday, June 26: Time Warner Cable Customer Appreciation Day
Present your Time Warner Cable Summerfest bill stuffer at any ticket window between noon and 3 p.m. to receive a free ticket with the purchase of one adult weekday ticket.

Sunday, June 28 : Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Coupon Discount Day
Purchase a $15 admission for $8 by presenting a special 2009 Summerfest coupon clipped from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel at any ticket window. Copies of the coupon will not be accepted, one discount per person.

Monday, June 29: Time Warner Cable Children’s Fest day with TMJ4
All patrons arriving between noon and 3 p.m. will be admitted free. Select food vendors will also be offering food and beverage discounts.

Tuesday, June 30 : Kapco's $2 Tuesday
All visitors attending between noon and 8 p.m. will receive $2 Summerfest general admission. Kapco's $2 Tuesday tickets can be purchased in advance.

Wednesday, July 1 : Wisconsin Lottery Discount
Receive $5 off an $8 Summerfest general admission by presenting a non-winning Wisconsin Lottery Summerfest scratch-off ticket at any window. One discount per person.

Wednesday, July 1: Johnsonville & Pick ‘n Save/Copps Partyville Day
The first 2,000 visitors to show their receipts from any Pick ‘n Save or Copps that show the purchase of two Johnsonville Party Packs (brats or Italian sausages), dated between June 14 and July 1, will receive one free admission.

Thursday, July 2: Northwestern Mutual “Make a Child Smile Day”
The first 1,500 visitors to donate a new children's toy, art supplies or PG or G DVD worth at least $5 will receive one free admission ticket. Items must be in original packaging or have original tags. Proceeds to benefit Children's Hospital of Wisconsin System.

Thursday, July 2: H.O.G. Day
Visitors presenting a valid Harley Owners Group card at the tent located at the northwest corner of Chicago Street and Harbor Drive will receive one free admission.

Friday, July 3: Malt-O-Meal Day
The first 1,500 visitors, from noon to 3 p.m.) to present a receipt from any grocery store in Wisconsin clearly showing the purchase of two Malt-O-Meal bag cereals of 10 ounces or larger (dated between June 25 and July 3, 2009), will receive one free admission ticket.

Saturday, July 4: CBS 58 Milwaukee / MDA Day
The first 1,500 visitors contributing $10 or more to the Muscular Dystrophy Association will receive one free admission ticket.

Sunday, July 5: WE Energies Free Admission Day
All visitors attending between noon and 3 p.m. will receive free admission.
