Our local Home School group’s Salt & Light Speech and Debate Club is hosting a Junior Speech Tournament on Monday, November 2nd, 2009. Being held this year at Evangel AG Church at 9920 W. Good Hope Road in Milwaukee, this tournament offers homeschool students ages 7 to 11 the opportunity to speak competitively in the categories of: humorous, dramatic, duo and open interpretations, impromptu, expository (with props), persuasive and original oratory.
In order to provide these students with this exciting educational experience, we are looking for adults who might serve as judges. We provide an orientation before each round so that you will know what to do and can ask questions. No experience is necessary!! We are looking for adults who like to listen to cute kids and are willing to give them some constructive feedback.
