Join Us At The Lab for Super Saturdays For Some Awesome Science Discoveries !
Pre-registration is required, regstration closes at noon on the Friday before the program.
All of our programs are appropriate for kids in

ages 5-12. So if your looking for some extra time to get shopping done or just want to give your child some educational fun then drop them off at Mad Science for some science fun!. You can think of it as educational babysitting. Your kids will just think it's cool!
Each class runs 9:30-11:30AM.
Cost $20 per child
All classes include cool take homes and lots of hands on experiments.

November 14 Optical Illusions
Jr. Scientists will love building their own periscope while learning about
optics, reflection and sight. We'll watch celebrity images change before our eyes! Seeing is not always believing.
November 21 Earthqukes &Volcanoes Take a voyage to the center of the Earth! We'll investigate the powerful processes that shape the planet and form remarkable rocks, magnificent minerals, and glittering gems! Children will take home sedimentary stackers that they made themselves.
November 28 Slime Time
Explore the exciting world of polymers, the chemical reactions we use to create them, and the inner workings of slime. Transform two regular liquids into an oozing batch of your very own slime.
December 5 Harnessing Heat
Students will observe a tea bag rocket and see an underwater volcano erupt. We will change the states of matter and cap off this workshop with a taste bud pleasing demonstration of heat at work, transforming solid sugar crystals into the spun floss of cotton candy.
December 12 Where's the Air
Join Bernoulli and Newton as we take this exciting look at the science behind aerodynamics and the properties of air. The kids will use a vortex generator to create air pockets with a punch, and levitate ping-pong balls in defiance of gravity.
December 19 Stunt Planes & Gliders Workshop
The Wright brothers would be proud as we follow in their footsteps and learn the
fundamental principles of flight and aerodynamics. Build a football glider, learn
about control surfaces and build your very own loop flying stunt plane. You' all be a
Top Gun after this class.
