3rd Annual Christian SKI CLUB

Posted in Sports

Homeschool families and friends and Hales Corners Lutheran Church families
and friends have combined together once again for the Third Annual Christian
Ski Club out at Alpine Valley.  We've changed the club night to Fridays this
year to make it easier for more members to participate.   Hope you can join
us.  A great time was had by all last season.  See you on the slopes!

WHEN: Fridays from 5:00 pm - Close, beginning Friday, December 8 (weather
permitting)

WHERE: Alpine Valley Resort - East Troy, WI (a 30 minute drive from Hales
Corners)

WHO:  Students aged 7 - 17 (or 18 if senior in High School)

COST: You need to purchase a Club Card for $10 per student which includes a
free ski lesson/ability evaluation.  The club card is a one time purchase
and only the student needs to purchase one - parents ski at club prices with
their student on club nights.  The club card then allows students and
parents to purchase lift tickets for $14 and rentals for $14 (ski or
snowboard).  Plus, students can ski or board after 3pm on non-holiday,
non-club days (Monday - Thurs and Sunday afternoons) for club prices too.
Club prices are only good for parents on club days - Friday.  Discounted
lift tickets are available during the holiday season which runs from
December 20-January 2, Martin Luther King Day and President's Day.

One of the unique features of the Ski Club is an evaluation system used by
Alpine's professional ski and board instructors.  They evaluate all students
to make certain that they are skiing or boarding on trails appropriate for
their ski level.  This keeps students safe and motivates them to reach new
heights!

The club card offers a great savings.  We have done the math and you will
save between 25-50% with a club card.  The non - club prices are $25 for a
beginner area lift ticket and $28 for "all area" skiers.  Equipment rentals
are $22.  One hour group ski/board lessons are $20 without the club card.
So you see, if you only skied one time during the season to "try it out",
the club card has more than paid for itself.

If you would like more information, or to obtain a club card, please contact
Heather Hinson either by phone 414-543-0627 or email  hmhinson@wi.rr.com or
Jeanine Bobber at 414-281-8998 or email alvernograd@wi.rr.com .  Let me know
where I can send the required paperwork.  Once I receive your payment and
paperwork I can forward a club card to you.  Don't delay, Alpine Valley is
now open as the Lord has blessed us with actual snow.
