The C.F.M.C.

Oct. 6, 2009 - Chapter 12, Part 1 - Entry File: The C.F.M.C.

Chapter 12
The C.F.M.C.

Telepath smiled, “That’s two more codes we know.”

Oh great, Julia thought. He’ll probably find out more before this fight’s over! There’s no one here that can protect us. ...unless he was telling the truth about me being telepathic! If he was, then maybe I can protect us! I’ll try next time he attacks one of us!

The Leopard, Rabies, and four minions came out towards the Heroes, surrounding them. Tiger Lady hissed, claws extended; Batgirl, now free from Telepath’s attack, straightened up and reached for a Bat-a-rang from her utility belt; Dark Warrior drew his double katanas; Beastboy changed to a leopard and crouched, ready to pounce; Julia, though not Wolf Woman, waited to attack.

“Let me at them first, guys.” Telepath ordered.

Beastboy leaped over two minions’ heads and ran to pounce on the Telepath, but after two leaps Beastboy crumpled to the ground in pain. Julia tried to block the attack, but she couldn’t.

The others followed Beastboy’s lead and ran forward to attack Telepath. One by one they fell to the ground. But once two of the others went down, Beastboy got up again.

He can only get two at a time; we just might be able to do this. Julia ran out with her friends, but was stopped instantly by the Telepath. I won’t let him win!

Julia got up, despite the pain and slowly, painfully moved towards Telepath. When the others saw her they did the same. Telepath quickly switched back and forth, hurting a couple of them for a little bit and then needing to get a different teen who was getting too close.

Telepath saw that he needed help, “Now!”

The other Legion members ran forward. Leopard drew her claws and used them as swords against Dark Warrior, Rabies went after Beastboy with a tranquilizer gun, and the four minions split themselves amongst the other Titans. The Heroes kept trying to get to Telepath, but whenever they tried he would stop them with his mind.

Julia figured that in order to win this one they’d have to take out the Telepath. So, I’m telepathic, huh? She looked over at the fallen prison bars and tried flinging them with her mind.

Telepath just laughed, “I said telepathic, not telekinetic!” Then he pulled out his radio and called Leo, “Leo, I just scanned them. We were wrong, we only need ten codes. I have them all,” he then whispered them to Leo.

What? Only ten? Oh well, I’ll figure that out later. Julia ran over to Batgirl, who was fighting two minions, and helped her out. Even without weapons or gadgets, she was an excellent fighter.

Then Julia remembered something that Telepath had said earlier: “deep scanning another telepath, trained or not, is much harder work than deep scanning a normal person”.

So I guess our best bet is me. With that thought, Julia turned and ran towards Telepath. Julia felt pain in her head but kept going. You aren’t going to win!

She heard Telepath say inside her head; “This isn’t the battle that you should be worrying about.” She knew that he was talking about the C.F.M.C. “We now have enough codes to get into the computer. Sorry to break it to you, but your friends are history, Miss Wolfe!”

She hated the way he said that, Stop calling me that!

With pain still throbbing in her head Julia jumped, kicking Telepath in the shoulder. Since she was in pain she didn’t get to her normal kick force, so Telepath was still standing but he was shaken.

She jumped at him, but he moved out of the way. She landed on her hands and changed it into a back handspring (not a very graceful one, but it worked). Then she ran at him and punched. He blocked it and she punched again. And again. And again. Then she kicked at his head, but he caught her foot. But she’d been expecting that and she jumped up and kicked him in the face with her other foot while flipping over backwards. She landed on her feet and jumped at him again, this time hitting him in the back of the head and knocking him out cold.

Then she looked back and surveyed the rest of the battle. Two of the minions were unconscious, Leopard and Dark Warrior were still dueling, and Rabies was trying desperately to hit Beastboy with his tranq gun. And he had his back turned to her. She ran at him, jumped and kicked him in the back of his head. He fell to the ground, unconscious.

Beastboy then ran to help Dark Warrior, while Julia and the girls finished fighting the minions. Soon all of the villains were out cold.

“Is everyone okay?” Dark Warrior asked. The others nodded their heads. “Then let‘s go,” he said, “We have another battle to catch!”

Raven looked around at her teammates. They could see the army of Super Villains and Minions coming towards the C.F.M.C. hideout.

I sure hope that this plan works.

Robin saw the Legion coming their way. He grabbed his radio and called Aqualad.

“Watch Tower team,” Robin said, “The enemy is coming this way; we need you and your group to get here ASAP.”

“Will do, Watch Tower over and out.”

Then Robin called Raven’s team. “Do you see the enemy?”

“Yes, Robin, we do.”

“Get ready, we’ll need you very soon.” He shut off his radio.

All right, I hope that the Wolf Rescue and Watch Tower teams get here soon; we’ll need all the help that we can get!

The Legion’s army came in as fast as an eagle’s shadow. The Super Friends, trying to protect their most valuable information, quickly met the attack.

After a few minutes of fighting, both the TT and JL Watch Tower teams made it to the battle and helped to ward off the attack. Ten minutes later the Wolf Rescue team made it back along with Julia, who was now a brunette Wolf Woman (she looked just like White Wolf, only with shorter hair). Before running into the fray, Batgirl handed Wolf Woman a small, circular object. "What is this?" she'd asked.

"It's a stablizer. I can't tell you why you need it just now, but you do!"

So Wolf Woman slipped the stablizer into a compartment in her utility belt, and then ran in to join the battle.

Soon Telepath, Leopard, Rabies, and the minions came to join the fight. Telepath then tried to hurt people mentally but was blocked by a telepathic wall made by certain telepathic members of the Super Friends.

The fight went on for what seemed like hours but was probably only a half hour. Minions quickly went down but the others were not easily broken. When it seemed that the Super Friends would win, the Legion brought out their new secret weapon: the Ninjas.

Ninjas were an advanced type of minion; stronger, better trained, they didn’t go down as easily as regular minions. They even were better fighters than some of the Legion’s main members! With their new help, the Legion had the upper hand.

Wolf Woman was one of the heroes in the back, so she met the Ninjas head on, along with a few other heroes. Wolf Woman had been trained in all martial arts except Jujitsu, so she wasn’t quite sure what to expect.

A bunch of the Ninjas tried to run past the back lines and into the main fighting; Wolf Woman and the others tried to keep them away, but a bunch of them got through.

Finally, one of the Legion’s members made it to the Computer. Rabies typed in one of the codes to access the Complete Files. No one moved to stop him; all were too busy fighting. Rabies typed in the second that the Legion knew. Then the two they’d learned from Julia.

Then he typed in one of the phony codes Telepath had gotten from Batgirl when he first scanned her. Then the screen went all red and all of the Legion members disappeared!

____________________

Raven watched as the entire Legion’s members appeared in the room that her team was in. Raven’s team had only ten seconds before the Legion disappeared again and reappeared in the Legion’s own hideout.

Raven’s team consisted of all of the Super Friends’ telepaths. The members of her team were: Wonder Woman, Wonder Girl, Troia, and Martian Manhunter.

Raven joined hands with the other telepaths and combined her powers with her team members’. Together they erased any memory of the C.F.M.C. from the members of the Legion of Doom’s minds. They also wiped away any memory of the Neutrium’s whereabouts.

They finished just in time, for right after they were done the Legion disappeared.
