We have had such geat adventures and fun in learning!  We have studied the basics of course.  But in addition we have covered many exciting things.  It is awesome how differantly they both learn.  I wonder now why anyone would think you could stick children in a room and expect them to learn by stitting still.  I see now why so many that are for homeschooling say public schools are like rats in a maze.  I don't see how my 8yr old ever sat still in a chair all day. My 12 yr old says she just loves homeschooling.  She is doing work so quickly I barely have time to grade it and log it.

I'm glad you had a great week! I completely agree with you about how different our kids learn. It's such a blessing to be able to work with our kids one-on-one versus having them in the middle of a classroom.
