Our First Science Experiment

Posted in Latest Science Experiments

The post office called at 5:30am today and said our baby chicks had arrived.  We all jumped in the car.  And off we went.  They were so noisy andlooked very healthy.  We got them home and immediately feed them the Grogel B suppliment.  We had ordered 25 pullets and 5 males.  After looking for awhile we decided to count them.  Much to our surprise we had 53 pullets and 5 males!  The company said it was their mistake and we were welcome to keep them.  Now we have a really huge project.  Anyone need any eggs?

I'm assuming you got them for the eggs. Maybe you can have 28 in your freezer after a couple of months? They won't be as meaty... or you could sell them... or give them away... I'd love to have chickens. Unfortunately we live in a place where snow covers the ground most of the year, and it makes it a little tough to let them graze...
