A New Reach for the Stars Workshop Graduate!

Congratulations to Sarah B. (sewbookcomputer)!
Sarah zipped along with the workshop lessons at an incredible rate (especially for one of the younger students). Sarah was always willing to go back and expand her lessons when I asked her to! A great, teachable young lady with lots of writing potential. Here is the link to her blog:

Hop on over and say "hi" and see what Sarah's up to.
She also answered some questions about the Reach for the Stars workshop. Enjoy, and . . .

Congratulations, Sarah!

1) What was the main reason you decided to participate in the Writing Workshop?
I think it was probably because I wanted to learn how to write stories.

2) Which lesson did you find to be the most helpful to the kind of writing you do, and why?
Probably "Show Don't Tell," because I would always tell and never show.
And "Dialog" because I would never have a conversation but always say it like a narrator.

3) Which lesson was the most FUN and why?
Probably Beginnings because I liked learning how to hook people;
Nutshells because I also liked trying to write a summary for my stories as much as possible!

4) Is there anything you learned from the writing workshop that you feel will "stick" with you the longest, and that you will really use when writing your stories? If so, what is it?
Again, probably beginnings

5) Where do you plan to go from here, writing-wise? (future plans for completing a story, etc. A title? A nutshell?) :-)  I
 think I will finish the story I am writing and then try to maybe write another one:) Oh yeah, and enter contests.

(FYI: Sarah has entered a contest. If she wins, I'll post the good news here!)
