Sharing a few photos taken while my mom visited recently. She came bearing punkins for the kiddos from her garden...course sized to match THEIR size.

We took some time to go to Pigeon Forge during "homeschool week" at the Wonderworks Museum. As you can see the building is quite intriguing, however can't say the same for the insides. Actually, there's many neat things to do and educational material, but it's so loud and crowded that you can't concentrate on anything mental...much less explain to the kids...certainly not toddler/baby friendly. We left early needless-to-say, poo!

Lilly, finally able to do something her size. Our daddy works for NASA currently and is in charge of design portions of the mechanical and acoustical vibrations table used to test the new space capsule. Not sure when ETA is for the moon launch. Would be nice if it is while he's still working for them. I'm sure we'll try and make a field trip out of the occasion when it does happen!
We really enjoyed having mom as we don't get to see her that often, fortunately we'll be up her way around Thanksgiving...it was a great visit! |
